Dr. Laurie Marbas is a board certified family medicine physician, USAF veteran and mother of 3 grown children. Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine. Member of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine and the American Academy of Family Practice. She will be sitting for the inaugural American College of Lifestyle Medicine's board certification in lifestyle medicine.
She received her dual degrees (MD and MBA) from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine and TTU School of Business.
She is a certified Food for Life instructor from PCRM. She served 4 years active duty in the USAF serving in the Middle East and South America.
Katie Reines is a registered dietitian, ACE personal trainer, yoga instructor, certified raw vegan chef, and holds a Master's degree in Human Nutrition from Texas A&M University.
Katie double majored in Dietetics, Nutrition, Fitness and Health at Purdue University, where she lead her own series of monthly plant based foods demonstrations, taught fitness classes, wrote as the Health Fitness columnist for the newspaper, started a vegetarian club on campus, and provided lectures and food demonstrations for her sorority and at local grocery stores.
She also holds a Lifestyle Medicine certificate from Harvard Medical School, and has strong skills in addressing psychology and behavior change.
